Is it a bison or a buffalo?

Plenty of Americans call them buffalo! But scientifically speaking, these fluffy cow-like creatures are actually bison.

As a member of The Nature Conservancy’s Editorial and Content team, I used mixed media to explore three easy ways to distinguish the differences between bison and buffalo. This vertical video aims to educate, inspire, and build support for TNC’s ongoing bison restoration projects.
